My favorite thing

So my favorite thing in the whole wide world is watching Sean and Kyson play and be silly together. Usually when I get the camera out Sean stops but he actually let me take a couple of pictures this time.

Christmas Time Comes Early

So normally I wait till Thanksgiving Day to bring all the Christmas stuff out, but Sean for some reason got really sick of my fall decorations (he says it's cause he hates the colors brown and orange) So he decided that we bring Christmas out early. Kyson had a blast playing in the Christmas Tree box, mostly because it is full of stuffed animals that go on the tree.

I am actually glad we got it all out early cause the tree is such a pain to put up, this way I can enjoy it longer.

Kyson even got his own tree this year that goes in his room!!
he thinks it's pretty cool

Trip Up North

I made a trip up to see my family, Kyson and I definately had a great time. First Kyson was able to play with his cousin Mason, and then his other favorite cousin Haylee. She had a birthday party, we made s'mores and watched a magician. It was fun to spend time with everyone, especially my nieces and nephews, they are getting so old! I feel like I am missing out on their lives, so it was really fun for me to be there.

Halloween Day For Us!!

Well we didn't get as into it as much as we did last year when Kyson and I dressed up as Cinderella and Prince Charming

But we still did a few things like a Halloween breakfast and dinner

(It didn't taste as bad as it looks, haha I promise)

Later that night my neighborhood circle got together had pizza and the moms stayed and watched a movie outside and passed out treats to the trick or treaters while the dads took the kids out. Of course my husband was gone so Kyson and I did just a little Trick-or-Treating and came back so we could pass out the candy most of the night.

He liked that better anyway.

CONSUMED

While I was kneeling at the computer trying to get my spook alley movie to download Kyson was pulling everything out the desk drawer. I was so consumed in this that I didn't notice him pulling off the lids to the markers. As soon as I noticed the lids were off I made a routine check to see which walls or beds were colored on. When I didn't notice anything I was pretty excited and proud of him. . . . I was wrong. He definatley found something,

ME!

kYsOn & mOmMy

Kyson was being really onery
(Kyson onery?!? no way)
so I decided to spin him in our office chair. He thought it was pretty cool. It was actually really stupid of me because it was bedtime and that totally Wound him up.

. . . oh well

Steph's Spook Alley

So I decided to Do something really cool for my scouts for Halloween since it is my favorite holiday. I came up with the idea to solve a mystery of my great great great grandma who was a witch and had disapeared when several people were out to kill her. We had to figure out what happend to her (it's all made up don't worry). I made a spook alley and there was a series of clues hidden that they would have to find so we could solve the mystery. It turned out awesome! infact every single one of my scouts was freaked out and two wouldn't even go through.

but wait... something else happened that was really scary. I was in there all by myself making it foggy and I was staring over at the dead guy thinking to myself self how creepy he was, and what I would do if he happened to come alive. At that moment I hear a sound coming from his direction, and ofcourse I can't help but look. As soon as I look he starts sliding off his table, I start freaking out of course and try to run to the door (it's completely dark remember) as I pass the grave yard the stupid stone does it's screamy thing and I can't help but let out a little one myself. Luckily I made it into the house and felt better but I had to get Denise to come out with me to fix the stupid man

I will be putting a video clip here of it as soon as I can figure it out.

These are all the props that I used. The book was my spell book. They had a lantern that they carried through for light, a satchel (I think that it was those are called) to put their clues in, and the pictures are my characters that were left in her last journal entry. Pretty cool huh?

Kyson's 1st Jawbreaker

Kyson found his cousin Haylee's jaw breaker and would not let go of it. From these pictures you can see just how much he enjoyed it.

Doing the Dishes

This is Sean and Kyson putting away the dishes (obviously) but I was excited that my two boys woke up so helpful this morning. It definitely put me in a good mood.

Chopped it off

I was feeling really spontaneous the other day and decided to cut my hair almost completely off, it was fun for a change but I've already decided to start growing it back out.

(This is a gross picture, I was getting ready to work out, but it is the only one I have)

I'm part of the blogging club... Yay

Well it took me long enough... but I thought I would try out the whole blogging thing. I seriously don't know what I'm doing. I'm not a very good email responder, picture taker, journal writer, or keep in toucher - so I'm hoping this takes care of all those departments once I get the hang of it.
