farm, family, and fun!

Sean and I took Kyson last year to Staheli farm and he loved it so much we decided to do it again. We thought that it would be a pain with Rilee because we thought she would be really hard there, but we were wrong. Both of my kids could not have been any better or been any more excited to be there. We did so much. We went on a tractor ride to a pumpkin patch and let the kids pick out a pumpkin, we went on the cow train, slides, played with the animals, got yummy scones, and tons more. It was seriously so fun, I can't wait to do it again next year!!

What a perfect Day!!

Here is a whole lot of everything!

Wow, where do I start?? There has been a whole lot of everything going on, so I guess that I will start with the fact that it is now fall, and I absolutely love it. I don't know if it is because I have a fall birthday that I love this season so much, or if it because it gives me this warm peaceful feeling, but whatever it is I love that is here. I had a goal to do some kind of activity everyday for the Halloween/fall season. Yeah, well, it doesn't happen everyday but we have been having a fun time. We made bird snacks to hang on our tree's for the birds, made bat decoration's, we carved pumpkin's, painted pumpkin's, and then with the guts of the pumpkin's had a fun and messy pumpkin gut fight.




I had a great birthday. Sean and I had a low key day which is just what I wanted. He and the kids made me a birthday cake, and we went to a movie later which was really needed for us, nothing could have gone better. I have been really assessing my life lately and I am now 26, I am pretty dang lucky to have everything that I have. I have a great marriage with someone I have abounding love for, I have two amazing and beautiful kids, and I have a constant companionship with my Heavenly Father that gives me the strength to live each day of my life better, and the encouragement to keep going when I don't think I can. I am seriously more than blessed.




I have been seriously freaking out about Kyson going to preschool because he has never done anything with out me that requires him being around others he is not familiar with. He still bawls, or more like hyperventilates in nursery if I leave, which isn't very often because I am the teacher.

He even had been having dreams about me leaving him at the "blue store" (which is Wal-Mart) and I had no idea where this was all coming from because he had never been left anywhere.

I decided to have him do a little kids Karate class to kind of get a taste of interacting with a teacher and other kids. Well, he hated it and was being a little brat, mostly because he hated when the attention was on him. Well one day after Karate class I was really frustrated because I really didn't want to have a socially retarded child and I wanted him to not be afraid of preschool anymore, so I told him we were going to see a preschool.

Of course he was crying and was begging me not to leave him there. We got there (Barefoot Preschool) and I went and asked if I could take him to see the preschool. They took us back there and as soon I we walked in the door a HUGE smile appeared on his face.

He ran in and he saw a tarantula, which Kyson is obsessed with bugs, critter, or any creepy crawly, so he could not believe this. He was so excited he couldn't even talk. When I told him it was time to go he said "okay mom I will see you later" while pushing my legs out the door.

When I told him he could not come to preschool right now and that we would come back again he was so bummed out. And that was that, I signed him up, we went and he picked out a backpack, notebook, he was so excited for his first day, and he has been perfectly fine.

He is also so much like his dad, after preschool I always ask questions and of course he looks at me so irritated and says, " Mom, Quit saying stories" Which pretty much means stop talking. I am so proud of him and I seriously already have noticed a ton that he has learned and he has only been there 3 times.




We have also added a couple more animals to our collection. This time we got..... CHICKENS..... Sean is already telling me I have to get rid of them, He is very sick of my animal obsessions. He got rid of my rabbit one day when I was gone, so we will see what happens to the chickens. However, the kids will be super sad if they are gone because they think they are pretty cool.



I just love my two kids and I love it even more when they can play well together. This was seriously one of the cutest things I have ever seen. They were being so funny in this car together.

Great aunt...wedding trip... and another birthday!

Sean Ray Wilstead just turned 26!!! Holy smokes! We didn't do much except spend time together. We got a babysitter, went to panda express, and watched movies, then went to bed. Not much, but it was great for us both. I just love him and can not imagine life with out him. I hope you had a great birthday hun!!!!

So my niece got married a few weeks ago and asked if Kyson could be their ring bare-er : ) (spell?)
They got him a mini tux and everything. He seriously was such a stud! He did really well at the rehearsal but the day of the wedding he wasn't so happy and didn't want to do it. The only way he went was with me holding his hand but, that didn't look so bad because the cute flower girl literally screamed down the isle with her mom dragging her to the front. I didn't feel so stupid after that. However, I couldn't really feel stupid because Kyson looked so stinkin cute he would have pulled it off no matter what he did.

Rilee did pretty well considering I had to keep passing her off to people so I could focus on Kyson with pictures, the ceremony, ectetera. I was definitely ready to give her some attention when this was all through, I seriously felt so bad, but she was kept pretty entertained.

Oh yeah, something crazy, I have the cutest GREAT niece ever!! That is right, I am a GREAT aunt! Her name is Payslie, and she is so cute. I only wish I had more time to love her too while I was up there.

Kyson and his pets

Kyson loves animals, and here are pictures of his current collection. About a month ago he had a rabbit named Mopsy as well but, when me and the kids came home from being up north she mysteriously disappeared. I guess Sean was a little frustrated that we let it roam around the back yard instead of being cooped up, so it ate everything, oh well, we will get another one, one day.
He has a fish, but there really isn't much to say about him.
He just recently got his snake. He has wanted one for about 7 months and finally his wish came true. His name is Red, and Kyson loves it. We fed it for the first time and that was probably the craziest thing ever.
Rhino, is his hamster. I am surprised this thing is still alive. Not only has it survived Kyson AND Rilee's constant mauling, but it has also survived a Dog attack as well. I am pretty impressed.
And.. we have Max. He is our dog. He is super cute, but he is just as much up keep as the kids, if not more. However, he makes a great addition to the family and the kids love him, most of the time anyway.

So I year has passed since Rilee was born. I will never forget that day because it was a little scary because she was so early, but she has been a blessing and is a perfect little angel!
She had a fun party and a good birthday. She was super tired at her party, but she was a trooper and had a pretty good time, especially with her cousin Tylee. They are seriously so cute together.

Rilee Bug turning one!?! CRAZY!

So, I can not believe how fast time flies, especially knowing she is my last. I seriously love her, She definitely has attitude when she wants her way, but, she is also my little sunshine, she always will give me the cheesiest smile where she scrunches her whole face and leans her head back, It is priceless and she does it all the time. She is always giving hugs and now finally giving kisses, she has always been very stindgy with sharing her kisses until now and I love it. She is so close to walking and if she is not paying attention she will just walk about 3 steps until she realizes what she is doing and then all of a sudden gets nervous and will sit down. She loves her mom (Which i also love) and she is becoming quite the daddy's girl as well. She is a dancer and always has been, however, now she really gets into it, sometimes she head bangs a little too hard and will hit her head on the table or whatever she is holding on to.

We love you Rilee I hope you have a really good first birthday!!

Sean Ray...

I always think about how much I love my husband but, I have never really written it down, so I wanted to write down what I love about my husband at this point of time in my life.


1st, he never ceases to amaze me with his dedication to being a hard worker, and will do anything to make sure our family has every thing we need.

2nd, He is the best dad in the whole world! I could literally just watch him with our kids all day and never get enough of it.

3rd, He has so much patients with me. If I am in a bad mood he seriously just looks at me with so much love and laughs that I am being so ridiculous and tries to cheer me up.

4th, All the free time he has, he always wants it spent with me or our family. If we have the opportunity to go out with friends (individually) we always end up changing our minds because we would rather just be together. We totally value our time with each other and never have enough of it.

And most of all I just love him, I honestly feel we were destined, we are too perfectly matched for it to be just a coincidence.

I can not believe my baby boy is 3! I have mixed feelings, I love this age but, it goes by way to quickly. He is soooo funny and he had a great party I wish I would have taken better pictures but at least I got a few. My poor cupcakes and cake had been squished before I go any good pictures so that is a bummer but they were pretty cute when I first finished them.








To my Angel Face,

Kyson boy I love you so much. In fact right now I am looking at you laying down in my bed. I can hear you breathing, you breath pretty loud or even snore when you fall asleep if you are really exhausted. of course you kicked you covers off the moment I put them over you, you are wearing your buzz pajamas with no bottoms and your pull up with lightning McQueen on it, you look so dang cute. I want you to know you are my life. You bring me peace when nobody else can, just looking at you I can't help but smile, no matter the situation. I love every detail about you, i love your squishy ears, your birthmark on your back, and the fact that you are so defiant and always having to have the last word in when you are mad, but you are a pleaser, and you never want to make mommy, or anybody sad. I love that you love bugs and snakes. I love that you say the funniest things especially at night. When you get deliriously tired and we are laying in your bed you are so affectionate and snuggly. You love to tease people and always have. I love that you are so protective of me, and that you will always beat up anybody if you think they are hurting me. Most of all I love hearing you laugh! All I can say is that you are perfect! My love for you is perfect. Angel, I could not possibly love you more than I already do! I am so proud that you are mine!! I love you.

Kyson's Birthday Party!!

Kyson has officially decided he wanted a Buzz water party. So I finally made his invites and I think they will be fun. Kyson likes them a lot. I can't wait for his party, mostly because it is all Kyson talks about right now, so hopefully it will turn out pretty good.

It has been a while since I have taken a little photo shoot of my kids, so at about 10:00 pm I decided I would since my kids were not falling asleep. They did not particularly enjoy this, but, they never do.

Kyson's latest:
-We went to watch fireworks a few weeks ago, and when the first one went off Kyson looked at me in total surprise and said, "Oh my gosh! The star just blowed up!"

-I was asking Kyson questions about a dream he was telling me about. He got sick of me asking questions but, I wouldn't stop (I was really concerned about this one). After a few minutes of pestering he said, "Mom, Oh my gosh... are you kidding me... seriously."

I can't believe he is turning 3 next month, I am sad he is getting big so fast but, I can't wait to see what else he is going to start doing, or the next thing he'll be in to. He loves bugs I mean LOVES bugs. We seriously have to go out every day several times and find bugs to put in his bug catchers. He loves snakes as well, however, we don't come across those as much but, he loves it when I take him to the pet store so he can see them. Every single time we go he asks if we can buy it and take him home. I am not quite ready for a snake, especially because he already has a rabbit, a hamster, and usually we have some kind of frog or lizard in a cage to play with. I have to let these loose and find new ones so they won't die, it makes me feel too bad when they do. He is going through a phase where he wants all the attention and hates that Rilee takes up so much of my time. He loves to be outside, and he does not like to play by himself, he has to have some one with him almost constantly. He likes Cheese pringles, Hershey kisses, and the center of oreo's. He loves to tease, wrestle, but is a very sensitive boy. he hates to see you sad, and will come give you kisses if you are. I love this boy so much!

Rilee's latest:

Rilee is now crawling!! She is 9 and 1/2 months now, and I honestly was not sure if she ever would, especially because Kyson was walking very well at 10 months. Rilee is a momma's girl now, and is very bashful but she will smile usually at anyone. She loves to dance and bounce to music, it is the cutest thing ever! She is very dramatic, but just to let you know what she is thinking then snaps right back into being happy. Rilee loves to play in the dirt, sand, grass, or pretty much anything which is a good thing being in our family. She pinches you really hard when she is frustrated (she has done this always). She has a sweet tooth, she likes her fruits and anything that is sweet. She loves to stand or walk, and gets very irritated if you make her sit.

Time is seriously going so fast, I wish I could slow it down a little, but I do look forward to every day because every day my kids are always doing something new and hilarious.

Sean
Sean is always busy, always working so hard, and every free second he has he chooses to spend it with us. He doesn't get a lot of time for himself because he devotes himself to making our lives better in any way that he possibly can. He is seriously the most loving, affectionate (yes, I am talking about Sean) husband and dad in the whole world. He honestly does anything I ask. I love him tons and tons and can't believe we are going on 7 years! I love you hun!

I officially think I am crazy. My brother in law Jared and I have signed up for the St. George marathon. I don't have a clue how I will have time to train, but I guess I will figure it out. Everything else is the same as always, busy busy busy.

Fianlly Hawaii posts!!

H-A-W-A-I-I


All I can say is that this was AMAZING!! Everything, the place we stayed, the weather (most of the time), the experiences, and just being there!!


-Kyson was in heaven literally every second. He loved playing on the beach, sticking his toes in a fish pond thing and they would come suck on them, but his most favorite thing was to go out at night and go looking for crabs. When he would hold the crabs of course they would pinch him and Kyson would would say "Ow, he is tickling me!" (don't worry they were tiny so it wouldn't hurt... much).

-Rilee was pretty happy too. She loves to get dirty. She loved the sand, not only playing in it but she thought it tasted pretty good too. She did really well, She was a little young to really experience the things we were doing, but she was happy the whole time, well, except once on a long car ride that could not have been any more swervey. So not only I was throwing up in the back (literally), she was too. I guess she gets car sick like her mom.

-The best part for me was actually having Sean around for a whole 7 days. As well as surviving my near death experience body boarding. Ha ha, I am serious though, sort of, I didn't think I would drowned, but I thought that I would scrape against the coral covered bottom, start bleeding (which I did, but it was only the bottom of my foot and tiny sciffs over my leg. however, they did all bleed.), and then get eatin' by a shark. It was really intense. The thing that it even more humiliating, I honestly think these were some of the tiniest waves I have ever been in.

Fun fun fun

This was Rilee's first time in a swing and well... you can tell she absolutely loves it. Kyson thought he was pretty cool that he learned how to do superman on the "big boy" swing.

I have a niece Tylee, and her and Rilee are only 5 weeks apart, and It is so much fun having them so close. Rilee loves to play with with her, she gets so excited when I put her down by Ty. I finally have a picture of the two together.

RILEE

She is now just about 8 months old, and I can't believe it. She is still my little ray of sunshine.

She is happy 97% of the time, and that 3% only happens when she is really hungry or really tired.

She only sits still if she is entranced in a conversation.

She pinches really hard, and loves to play with hair.

Has the 2 cutest teeth ever (you can see these in one of the pictures).

Hates being left alone, but gets ecstatic when you walk in the room to get her.

She is super good at telling you off by stiffening her whole body and does a very girly Uuughh. She also has a very high pitched squeal when she is excited.

She absolutely adores her brother, no one can get her to laugh like he can and she puts up with everything, just the other day she was laughing so hard at Kyson squirting a squirt bottle in her face.

She is still pretty much bald, the little bit of hair that she has is pretty much all rubbed off on the sides from rolling around so much.

She likes to suck on ribbons, wet rags, and Loves loves loves her bottles. She likes to be around everyone and is everybody's friend, very rarely will she not enjoy someone new talking to her.

She can now say momm momm. Mostly does this when she is sad.
Seriously everyday she never fails to bring us so many smiles. We love her so much.

KYSON

Kyson, kyson, kyson... Wow, in the world do I begin. Well first and foremost

Kyson is Potty trained.. YAY!!!!!!!!

He is a great big brother (most of the time) he always wants to hold her and he loves to make her laugh and he is very good at it.

He is continually surprising me with new things he thinks of to say. Here are a few from the last few days.

Grandma: Kyson, quite being so notty?
Kyson: I LIKE to be notty.
Grandma: Why?
Kyson: its so fun.

Kyson is talking to grandma and she is ignoring him so he will finally go to sleep.
Kyson: (very frustrated) Granma, talk to me.
Grandma: No, it is time for you to sleep.Kyson: (sighs angrily) Well, Daddy is a peece offcer and he will shoot you.
(I really have no idea where he learned this one)

kyson runs into my room with his hands behind his back (lotion speared all over his face)
Kyson: Momma, you love me?
Mom: Yeah, what happened?
Kyson: No answer.
Mom: Kyson, I am going to go find out (as I start leaving the room)
Kyson: No no no mommy do not go find out what Kyson did.

This isn't anything he said just something that he did. It has been super nice weather so I have left the back door open. I walked into the kitchen and see kysons shoes pants and underwear sitting in a pile by the door. I go look outside wondering what in the heck and when I look out there is my little boy standing on top of a rock peeing into a hole that Sean had dug out.

He constantly plugs his ears if he doesn't want to hear what you have to say, and he does the opposite of anything you tell him, and he thinks he is hysterical when he does this.

Even though he is a little rebellion he definitely is still a sweetheart, he always randomly runs up and kisses me saying "Mommy, I love you".

He hates it when I get mad at him, it totally breaks his heart.

He tells everyone that he is mommy's Kyson and gets mad if someone tells him otherwise.

His favorite things are getting grandma's chicken eggs, Thomas and friends, Buzz Lightyear, batteries (which he sneaks these because he is not allowed to have them). and going to the store.

If he is in a bad mood he is super unpleasant, you can not do anything right, he won't share, and he growls at you, and if you tease him at this time it makes him super emotional.

I seriously am loving this stage, but it is hard because I am having to get more strict now that he is starting to really understand everything, but we love him and I wouldn't change a thing.

I can not get enough of these two!

KYSON vs RILEE

I decided to look at kyson's pictures when he was Rilee's age to see the comparison. They are definatley brother and sister, but still are their own little selves which I love!!!

Rilee got her first tooth!!!!!! Holy moly I seriously can not believe it. I will post a pic as soon as you can really see it, I can't wait to see her toothy grin.

Finally I did a photo shoot for Rilee I haven't done this since I think she was 1 month!! or 2 I can't remember. Too bad I waited till she was soooo tired, she was so mad at me most of the time but I definitly got a few cute ones.

At 6 months...

*She eats so well, seriously to the point where she is so full she will throw up, so I have to
monitor her eating otherwise she will keep eating what I put in her mouth.

*Grabs your face and holds onto it while she just stares at you.

*Every time I pick her up she lays her head on my shoulder, then looks up and smiles at
me. love it.

*She smiles at me, or anyone she recognizes when she sees you.

*She is ticklish, mostly around her neck.

*Sticks her tongue out, I mean way out, and just keeps it that way (I will leave a video of this)

*She whines in her sleep when she is ready to eat at night but never really wakes up.

*Talks, talks, and talks.

*Laughs when I say zerozero... Have no idea why.

*Every one calls her Rilee Bug.






KYSON.kyson.KySon

Kyson absolutely loves the cabin, He asks to go there almost every day. This last time he was so excited to play in the snow. He got to go ice fishing, he made all of us a snow man (Me sean kyson and rilee), he was trying to shoot all the animals with his new gun, and we went sledding behind the rhino. So much fun, we can't wait till next time.

We started learning time today, and I was very proud of how smart my little boy is. I have always taught colors and numbers, but never really focused on shapes yet besides casually mentioning them. I am so happy he does so well!

So it was late and I was up late working and Kyson wouldn't sleep. He brings me in the camera and wants to take pictures so he can see them on the computer (he loves this right now). Kyson started out being silly so I decided to join him.

I just love this stage right now, I really don't want him to get any bigger.

I know, I know it's about time!

The thought of updating has been way too over whelming to think about so I just haven't, but I am starting to forget everything that has happened so I finally decided I should probably post it.

Let's see...

I think I'll just skip straight to the Christmas holiday. Kyson was sooo much fun this year. He understood who Santa Clause is and what he does. He loved everything about it the Christmas lights, Christmas tree's, Frosty the snowman, Santa, and anything else that has to do with it. One thing that I will remember most this year is that I have a very sneaky and devious little boy (I guess being the son of his parents he really had no hope). Any way it all started when I decided to put his presents under the tree, this was so exciting for him he could not leave these presents alone, and I don't mean by opening them... yet any way. It started out with the innocence of just wanting to hold them, then play with them, and then even it got to the point I would find some in his bed when I would go check on him at night. I of course don't think much of it except the fact that I am really excited that he is really into it. Well one day I walk into the Family room and notice a huge pile of pillows stacked on top of each other next to the Christmas tree, interested in what Kyson could possibly be doing now I go into his room to see what he was doing, he wasn't there. So I call his name trying to see where he was and I heard a quick rustle coming from the Christmas trees... and behind his pillows. As I get closer I hear my little boys breathing get heavy with anticipation. I pushed away his strategically stacked pillows and see that he had opened a couple of presents and was playing with them so quietly. Of course this was hard for me not to laugh, especially because the look on his face honestly looked like a deer caught in headlights, and I was also happy to know that he liked his Christmas presents, well a couple days had past with no more problems with Christmas presents, until, one night at about 1 am Kyson still had not come in to get me or crawl into my bed (which was his nightly routine) so I get up to go in and check to make sure he was okay, and to my surprise he was more then okay, He had his room light on and was sitting under neath his covers (obviously forgetting about the wrapping paper all over his floor) and When I lifted up his covers, low and behold, he was there with almost every present opened out of the box (to his best ability) and was having the time of his life. After that he of course looked at me knowing he messed up and did his signature in trouble manuever, "love you mommy, missed you".

It's a good thing he is so freakin' cute!!



I Can't believe how big he is getting and how fast!! It's fun to see his new phases, and what he will be into next but it is also sad for me that it is going so fast!

Here are some funny things he has said the last couple of weeks.

#1. Nursery Teacher: Kyson, Did you know you are a child of God?

Kyson: (with a little attitude) No, I Kyson.

Nursery teacher: That's right you are, but you are a child of God.

Kyson: (now very angry) No I not!! I Kyson!

The nursery teacher at that point decided it best to leave that argument alone.


#2. That's so Stinkin' Funny.

#3. Kyson is in the bathroom and hears Me in the kitchen let out a scream because Sean decided to start tickling me. Kyson then yells out as loud as he can. "Sean, Don't Do Dat!"

Yep, I definitely love him!!




Next, we have my perfect little Sunshine Rilee...





Seriously, that is really all there is to say about her. She is perfect. She Smiles, Sleeps, laughs, just lays there if I need to do something, handles Kyson's rough love, and loves her mom and dad, but especially her dad! It is so fun to see Sean melt when she stares and then smile at him when she finally get his attention. You seriously can not help but smile when you look at her. This is so cheesy but she is literally is a little ray of sunshine. She is now just over 5 months and is so cute. She rolls both ways, and we are getting closer to sitting up but still have a little ways to go. She eats regular baby food. Loves to talk and is very loud. She is definitely a snuggler, which is something else that is so fun. She is super tall and growing so much every day. I can't wait to see more of her personality come out, but I definitely am in no hurry for her to grow up.

I honeslty can't and would never want to imagine life with out her.




And now we have my Hunny bun Sean.




The thing that would sum up Sean in a nut shell Is Hard working. He seriously devotes himself to making sure he his providing enough for his family. He is so busy all of the time I wish he had a moment for himself, but if he ever has a minute he uses it doing something for one of us. I love him so much and it is so crazy being with someone that you both know with out a doubt that you were meant for one another.

We actually just celebrated out 6th anniversary on the 3rd. That is pretty close to 1/4 of my life!! Holy moly I just thought of that. It was perfect, we had a little get away to the cabin which is always great.
